What happens when we stop performing who we think we're supposed to be and begin listening to the instinctive woman underneath?
Inspired by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés' groundbreaking book Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype, the Wild Woman represents our instinctual nature: the part of us that knows when to move and when to rest, when to create and when to destroy, when to soften and when to say no.
For this workshop, I bring these teachings into the body through seven distinct expressions of the Wild Woman, woven together with Jungian and zodiacal archetypes:
- The Huntress: instinct, discernment + pursuit
- The Wolf Woman: sovereignty, belonging + untamed truth
- The Creatrix: desire, creation + life force
- The Lover: sensuality, receptivity + pleasure
- The Boundary Keeper: protection, anger + the sacred NO
- The Oracle: intuition, mystery + inner knowing
- The Queen: self-possession, leadership + embodied authority
Rather than simply learning about these archetypes, we'll embody each one.
Through guided somatic movement, breath, sound, and intuitive exploration, you'll experience how each archetype feels and moves through your own body. We'll weave in accessible teachings from Jungian psychology and astrology along the way, giving each archetype a deeper symbolic framework.
No prior knowledge of archetypes, astrology, or somatic experience is necessary! Wear comfortable clothing you can freely move in and come exactly as you are.
